Der digitale Wandel verändert den Arbeitsmarkt fundamental. Laut World Economic Report werden alleine 65 % der Kinder, die heute in die Grundschule kommen, später in einem Job arbeiten, welcher derzeit noch nicht existiert.
Zielsetzungen für die Lehre im digitalen Zeitalter sollten positiv besetzt und mit der Situation der Hochschule verknüpft werden: entweder Herausforderungen lösen oder bisherige Stärken ausbauen.

A group of University of Oxford academics have launched the world’s first “blockchain university”, an Oxbridge-style institution that they describe as “Uber for students, Airbnb for academics”.
Woolf University will not have a physical campus and will instead be based around an app that allows academics to advertise their expertise to prospective students, who can in turn select modules to suit their needs and interests. Blockchain, the increasingly popular digital ledger, will be used to regulate contracts and payments and also to record academic achievement.

If you need to learn what skills the workforce needs for the future, you will be confronted with a series of overlapping but not-quite-synonymous terms. Digital skills, digital competencies, 21st century skills, digital capabilities and digital literacies are all slightly differing concepts that have gained momentum in policy and research circles. Navigating through these to understand what skills are required for an increasingly digital world can be a challenging exercise.
